Lawmakers Look to Add Voter ID Law to Ballot

Republican state lawmakers are looking to protect Wisconsin’s strict voter ID law through a constitutional amendment. 

Yesterday, two GOP-leaning committees voted to move forward with an amendment measure, meaning the state Senate will be able to take a vote on it today.  The proposal will go on the ballot in April if it is approved by the legislature.
