Some electric vehicle charging stations that were paid for with federal dollars are opening in Wisconsin.
Chargers at Kwik Trip stations in Ashland, Menomonie, and Chippewa Falls were introduced yesterday. Nearly a dozen more will be installed across south-central Wisconsin in the near future. The chargers are being funded through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program.
