Transportation changes are in place for Waukesha County’s Hamilton School District following the tragic death of a student last week.
Five-year-old Finn Katona died after he was struck by a bus in the Silver Spring Intermediate School parking lot last Thursday. He was transferring from one bus to another on the way to Willow Springs Learning Center. District officials say those transfers are no longer happening as of this morning, with all 4K students being taken directly to their schools. The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is also providing extra traffic management near Willow Springs Learning Center this week. The crash remains under investigation.
