Sen. James Starts the 2025-2026 Legislative Session With Message of Dedication

Following today’s Inauguration ceremony, Senator Jesse James (R-Thorp) is eager to dive into the 2025-2026 legislative session, bringing energy and focus to tackling Wisconsin’s most pressing issues.

“This session presents an incredible opportunity to make meaningful progress for our communities,” said Senator James. “I’m committed to working with my colleagues to ensure every Wisconsinite has access to the resources and support they deserve.”

Senate leadership has reappointed Senator James as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention, Children and Families. In addition to his chairmanship, Senator James will serve as Vice-Chairman of the Senate Committee on Judiciary and Public Safety, and as a member of the Senate Committees on Utilities and Tourism and on Health.
