Rep. Jodi Emerson Sworn In For Fourth Term

Today, Representative Jodi Emerson (D-Eau Claire) joined her colleagues in the Wisconsin State Legislature by taking the oath of office for her fourth term. Rep. Emerson will serve on the following committees during the 2025-2026 legislative session: Colleges and Universities (ranking), Criminal Justice and Public Safety (ranking), and Housing and Real Estate. Following the swearing in ceremony, Representative Emerson released the following statement:


“I am deeply grateful to my constituents for placing their trust in me to be a voice for them in Madison. As we begin a new legislative session, I am optimistic about the opportunity to focus on the issues that matter most: ensuring the well-being of our children, protecting access to clean water, sustaining good-paying jobs, and creating opportunities for all Wisconsinites to succeed. These are the core values that motivated me to run for office, and I remain committed to working toward these goals as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Representing the 91st Assembly District is an incredible honor, one that I take seriously, and I will continue to work tirelessly on behalf of the people I serve.”
