The Eau Claire County Sheriff reminds the community of the continued investigation into a decades old case. Below is the update:
On Monday, January 6th it will mark 24 years since the death of Angelina Wall, of Eau Claire. During the early morning hours on that date, Angelina was walking home from her job at McDonalds on Hastings Way. Her body was later discovered on the roadside of rural Highway J near Fall Creek. She was 22 years old and was just beginning her life. Angelina was loved by so many, especially her mother, Lori. Lori still grieves her daughter’s death and struggles as the search for the person responsible for her death continues.
Despite the decades that have passed, the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office will never forget about, ignore, or give up on finding the person or persons responsible for Angelina’s death. Her case remains an active investigation, and a team of experienced and well-trained investigators and other law enforcement partners, continue to review leads, information and evidence associated with the case.
We continue to fight every day for justice and answers for the Wall family. Angelina and her family are in our thoughts every day and this case will always remain a priority. The Sheriff’s Office is still seeking the public’s help with information surrounding the death of Angelina.
