Speeding Leads to 5th OWI for Black River Falls Woman

Jody F. Whiteeagle, 35 years of age, from Black River Falls has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense. 

A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle on I-94 eastbound at mile marker 115 for a speed violation. The Trooper detected the odor of an intoxicant and observed signs of impairment from the driver. A subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety tests, showed the driver, Jody Whiteeagle, was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence 5th offense. She was placed under arrest, transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary test of her blood, and then to the Jackson County Jail. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated 5th offense, operating after revocation, and failure to install an interlock ignition device.
