Both Marquette and Wisconsin are on their way to the round of 16 in the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship.
The Badgers, who are the number two seed in their region and hosted first and second-round matches, posted a four-set win over seventh-seeded Georgia Tech. The Golden Eagles, who are seeded fifth in a separate region, stunned fourth-seeded Utah in five sets Friday at Salt Lake City. Marquette saw a two-set lead disappear before winning the fifth set 15-12. Both the Badgers and Golden Eagles will learn who their next opponents are after second-round play concludes today.
