A man and woman in Adams County are facing multiple charges after resisting arrest and injuring two law enforcement officers.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy tried to serve a warrant on a previous charge to a man who stopped at a residence in the town of Big Flats. The man allegedly resisted arrest and a woman in the vehicle with the man reportedly started attacking the deputy. The deputy allegedly tased the man, but the woman grabbed the taser and tossed it away as the two continued attacking the deputy. The Sheriff’s Office says the deputy was able to handcuff both suspects, although the woman later attacked a City of Adams officer.
The incident happened on Wednesday and both suspects were released Friday after posting bail.
