A new report ranks Wisconsin in the middle of the pack when it comes to freedoms.

The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty released its Freedom Audit yesterday. It looks at fiscal freedoms, regulatory freedoms, and personal freedoms. Wisconsin is in the 20s on all three. The report’s authors say Wisconsin has great freedoms for things like school choice and buying beer, but could do better when it comes to state government regulations.

The report also says Wisconsin should look at eliminating its personal income tax to give people in the state even more financial freedom.
