Add Wisconsin’s Libertarian Party to the list of people asking for their money back.
The Libertarians yesterday fired off a letter to lawmakers asking them to return the state’s four billion-dollar budget surplus to the taxpayers. The party says lawmakers need to stop ‘robbing the taxpayers.’ Republican lawmakers at the Wisconsin Capitol have said for years that they want to return the surplus to taxpayers, but Democrats and Governor Evers say they’d rather spend it.
