Worker Accused Of Lotto Ticket Theft

Investigators say someone who worked at a gas station in Thorp stole thousands of dollars worth of lottery tickets.

The BP in town reported about nine thousand-dollars in missing lottery tickets back in August. The Lottery says investigators quickly narrowed their focus to 25-year-old Hope Johnson. She was working on the days when the tickets went missing, store security cameras showed her printing off hundreds of tickets. She was also caught at the gas station across the street cashing-in her winners. In all, the Lottery says Johnson won just over two thousand-dollars from the nearly nine thousand-dollars worth of tickets she’s accused of stealing.
