A Merrill woman faces domestic battery charges after allegedly injuring a man with a firework placed under a toilet seat.
Authorities say the 27-year-old woman acted on a suggestion from another individual to plant a pressure-activated firework before the man used the bathroom. The device exploded when the 45-year-old man sat down, causing minor injuries. Lincoln County deputies responded to the home on County Highway K north of Merrill on Thursday. The woman is charged with domestic battery for the incident.
