The Senate race in Wisconsin is decided. Eric Hovde is conceding, almost two weeks after the election.
Hovde, a Republican, challenged incumbent Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin. He says he was hesitating to concede earlier, and was considering requesting a recount. Now, Hovde says it’s time to move on and recounting the votes won’t change the result of the election. Baldwin was first elected to the US Senate in 2012 — this will be her third term.
