WI Sports Notes: Bucks Drop the Ball, Badgers and Packers Idle

The Milwaukee Bucks’ struggles continue.

The Bucks never led in Friday night’s 116-to-94 loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The loss drops Milwaukee’s record to two-and-seven, and comes one night after the Bucks had snapped a six-game losing streak. The Bucks are off today and then have three home games in four days, starting Sunday against the Atlantic Division-leading Boston Celtics. Milwaukee lost to the Celtics by eleven points in the two teams’ first meeting October 28th at Boston.

From the court to the field, both the Packers and the Badgers are off this weekend, but there is plenty of football action in the WIAC. UW-Oshkosh and UW-Platteville are tied for first with identical four-and-one conference records. Both teams are at home this afternoon with the Titans hosting UW-Stout, while the Pioneers host UW-Eau Claire. Next Saturday’s games end the regular season.

Watch the action then be part of the game recap with our sports guru, Dan Kasper every weekday morning on Sports Talk 105.1.
