HyVee Returns to Checkout Lanes

HyVee Returns to Checkout Lanes

HyVee is removing self-checkouts from several stores. 

The Des Moines-based grocer didn’t provide a list of locations where self-checkouts will be taken out but says the goal is to increase face-to-face interaction with customers.  Two Iowa women were recently charged with theft for mis-scanning items on several occasions at multiple HyVee locations.
