DNR Seeks Black Bear Information

DNR Seeks Black Bear Information

If anyone in Wisconsin sees a rare black bear den, the Department of Natural Resources wants to hear about it.

The department says it’s studying black bear diets and litters, and public reporting is essential to the research project. Useful information would include GPS coordinates, any information about the bears nearby, and photos of the den from a safe distance. The DNR says it’ll continue to keep track of the dens for the next four to five years. CLICK HERE FOR MORE.
