Former President Donald Trump jumped into a garbage truck at his campaign stop in Green Bay yesterday.
The former president then spoke to the crowd wearing an orange safety vest, and laid into President Biden for calling Trump supporters garbage. Trump was in Green Bay as part of his final week swing through the battleground states. Brett Favre was also at the Green Bay event, and he too tore into Biden for calling Trump supporters garbage. Favre said police officers, teachers, nurses, grandparents, students, and everyday Americans are not garbage.
Across the aisle, Vice President Kamala Harris was on the campaign trail in our state as well.
The Vice President hosted a rally in Madison, saying it was good to be back in the town she spent several years of her childhood in. She continued to touch on her own life, saying she grew up in a working family so she understands the challenges facing the middle class now. Harris promised that her proposed economic plan would uplift the middle class and give over 100-million Americans a tax cut. Her rally was briefly interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters, and Harris said she agrees the war in Gaza needs to end and the hostages must be released.
