Boo! Happy Halloween: Weather, Trick-o-Treat Times, and Soundtrack Here!

Trick-or-treaters in Eau Claire will need coats tonight, but they shouldn’t see any snow.

There’s a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for parts of northwestern Wisconsin that means snow for some folks. Forecasters say the snow should be done by the time trick-or-treaters head out, but they say it will be cold. CLICK HERE FOR YOUR LOCAL FIRST ALERT FORECAST FROM WEAU 13 NEWS.

When it comes to the costumes, some are evergreen, like princesses and pirates. 

But others come and go with pop culture fads and Google Trends is out with a new ranking of the most searched costume ideas by region.  Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine are popular this year across the country, following the massive blockbuster film out over the summer.  Minions from the Despicable Me franchise are up there as well.  The movie popularity also carries over to a variety of the emotions from Pixar’s Inside Out. 

The most common costume search for a real person is Taylor Swift, while Sabrina Carpenter’s popularity is high.  Shrunkenhead Bob from Beetlejuice is extremely popular and so is Raygun, the Australian breakdancer who became a viral sensation at the Paris Olympics.
