WI Weekend Football: Badgers Drop the Ball, Packers Shine in Sunshine State

The Packers got another last-second field goal for the win.

Green Bay beat Jacksonville 30-27 yesterday. Kicker Brandon McManus knocked the game winner through as time expired. Jordan Love left yesterday’s game with a groin injury, and Malik Willis once again stepped-in and helped drive Green Bay to victory. The Packers are now 6-2, and will take on the Lions next weekend at Lambeau.

The fourth quarter turns out to be the difference as the Badgers’ Homecoming is spoiled by nationally third-ranked Penn State.

Wisconsin trailed by only a single point after three quarters, but the Nittany Lions scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns for a 28-13 win over the Badgers Saturday night at Camp Randall Stadium.  The loss snapped Wisconsin’s three-game winning streak and dropped the Badgers to three-and-two in Big Ten play.  Wisconsin is on the road next Saturday at Iowa.
