WI Weekend Football: Badgers Drop the Ball, Packers Head to FL

The Packers head to the Sunshine State today to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in an interconference matchup.

Green Bay carries a three-game winning streak into today’s contest following last week’s win over AFC South leader Houston.  Today’s game is also the Packers’ first since former New York Jets coach Robert Saleh joined longtime friend Matt LaFleur’s coaching staff earlier this week.  Kickoff is at noon at Ever Bank Stadium in Jacksonville.  The game airs live on Fox.

The fourth quarter turns out to be the difference as the Badgers’ Homecoming is spoiled by nationally third-ranked Penn State.

Wisconsin trailed by only a single point after three quarters, but the Nittany Lions scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns for a 28-13 win over the Badgers Saturday night at Camp Randall Stadium.  The loss snapped Wisconsin’s three-game winning streak and dropped the Badgers to three-and-two in Big Ten play.  Wisconsin is on the road next Saturday at Iowa.
