Democratic Side of the Ticket Rallies in WI, Republicans Continue in Battleground States

Kamala Harris’ latest campaign stop in Wisconsin was in the middle of Republican country.

Harris stopped for a campaign event in Brookfield last night. She was there with former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney and former conservative talk show host Charlie Sykes. Cheney said she was there to give Republican women ‘permission’ to vote for Harris this fall.

Meanwhile, attention continues from that side of the ticket with former President Barack Obama coming to Madison to try and get people to vote. Obama and Democratic VP pick Tim Walz will stop in Madison today for the beginning of in-person early voting in Wisconsin. Democrats have had early voting leads in the past several elections in Wisconsin. Obama is seen as one of Kamala Harris’ best closers in these last two weeks before Election Day.

Across the aisle, Trump was in North Carolina on Monday to tour hurricane damage in Asheville.

On Tuesday, Trump will hold a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina. Most polls have them neck-and-neck in these key states.
