Election Day isn’t for another two weeks, but voters across Wisconsin can start casting their ballots tomorrow.

Early, in-person voting begins tomorrow in Wisconsin. Local clerks say they are ready for people to vote. Turnout is expected to be high this year. The Wisconsin Elections Commission said there should be more than two million voters in Wisconsin. The state is, of course, a battleground state in the race for the White House. But there are also races for the U.S. Senate, the statehouse, and a constitutional amendment that would stop non-citizens from voting in future elections.

Showing you different sides so you can decide, there was political action in our state over the weekend.

It was a message for Catholics in Waukesha yesterday. Republican VP nominee JD Vance rallied Republican voters at the airport in Waukesha yesterday afternoon. Vance talked about his faith, and talked about the Democrats’ view on abortion. The Trump campaign is hoping to find some votes among Catholics this year. The latest polls show the former president either tied, or with a slight lead here in Wisconsin.

Cast members of TV show The West Wing were visiting Wisconsin this weekend, to support Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris.  Actors Martin Sheen, Bradley Whitford, Dulé Hill, Mary McCormack, and Richard Schiff were at the capitol on Sunday.  There was also be a 25th anniversary celebration for The West Wing at the Harris-Walz campaign event.  The cast also visited Waukesha and Milwaukee Saturday before their Madison visit.

Meanwhile, in other races closer to us, if there’s going to be a debate between the candidates running for Congress in western Wisconsin, it will come just days before Election Day.

Republican Congressman Derrick Van Orden on Thursday said he will attend the debate in Adams County. The debate is being sponsored by the Adams County Chamber, and is set for the Saturday before Election Day. It remains to be seen, however, if Democratic candidate Rebecca Cooke will join him. Cooke and Van Orden have been debating about debates, but she has yet to agree to do any. Voters will make their decision in two weeks.
