WI Football Weekend: Badgers Add a Win, Packers Host Houston

The Badgers extend their winning streak to three with a 20-point win at Northwestern.

Wisconsin held the Wildcats to nine first downs and just over 200 total yards offense in a 23-to-3 win on Saturday. The Badgers have allowed only a touchdown and three field goals in their last three games, outscoring their opponents 117-to-16. Wisconsin faces one of its toughest opponents of the season for Homecoming next Saturday. The Badgers host nationally third-ranked Penn State in prime time. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. and will air live on NBC and Peacock.

On to the Green and Gold…

The Packers will try to match the Badgers’ three-game winning streak today when they host the Houston Texans. The game could turn into a shootout between two of the top young quarterbacks in the league, the Packers’ Jordan Love and C.J. Stroud of the Texans. Despite missing two games, Love is tied for second in the NFL with 12 touchdown passes. Stroud is in a tie for fifth with ten touchdowns. Look for sunshine and temperatures in the 70s when the game kicks off at noon at Lambeau Field.
