Political Activity Continues: Vance Plans WI Stop, West Wing Plans Celebration

Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance will be in Wisconsin again this weekend.

President Donald Trump’s campaign says the Ohio Senator will speak at the Waukesha County Airport on Sunday.  A news release from the campaign suggests Vance could speak about the Catholics for Trump coalition.  Sunday will be Vance’s sixth time vising Wisconsin since becoming Trump’s running mate.

This is on the heels of a visit from the other side of the ticket as Vice President Kamala Harris broke with tradition yesterday with her decision not to attend the Al Smith Memorial Foundation charity dinner in New York. Instead of attending in person, Harris was on the campaign trail in Wisconsin with Election Day less than three weeks away.

Cast members of TV show The West Wing will be visiting Wisconsin this weekend, to support Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris.  Actors Martin Sheen, Bradley Whitford, Dulé Hill, Mary McCormack, and Richard Schiff will be at the capitol on Sunday.  There will also be a 25th anniversary celebration for The West Wing at the Harris-Walz campaign event.  The cast will also visit Waukesha and Milwaukee tomorrow (Sat) before their Madison visit.
