The Department of Public Instruction released the general state aid figures yesterday. Two-thirds of schools will get more money, while about a third will get less. In all, Wisconsin is sending just over five-and-a-half billion-dollars to local schools. Milwaukee Public Schools are among those getting less, in part because of the city’s sloppy record keeping and late financial reports.
