Winging It? Local Farmers Seek Solutions for Displaced Chickens

Thousands of chickens in western Wisconsin need new homes.

Volunteers are trying to give away about 30-thousand chickens that used to be a part of Pure Prairie Poultry’s flocks. The folks at Pips ‘n; Chicks in the Chippewa Valley said there were originally 120-thousand chickens that needed to be moved. Now that number is much lower. Pips ‘n’ Chicks has a Facebook post with a number of local farms that have the chickens. They’re asking for a dollar-per-bird donation. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE LATEST.
