A crash claimed the life of a Sheldon woman.
It was a bit after 8:30 on the morning of Saturday October 12th, when the Wisconsin State Patrol reports that a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer was southbound on County Road G approaching State Hwy 64. Initial investigation shows the Trailblazer failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of State Hwy 64. After entering the intersection, the Trailblazer was struck by a westbound 2024 Mazda CX-90 driven by 43 year old Jeanie Holland-Seczko of Cornell.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital and 56 year old Vicki Bentley of Sheldon was later confirmed dead.
