The Hudson teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a fifth grader is headed for trial.
A St. Croix County judge yesterday said there’s enough evidence to go to trial against Madison Bergmann. She’s looking at ten felony charges for what prosecutors say was an inappropriate sexual relationship with one of her elementary school students. She was fired and arrested back in May after the principal at River Crest Elementary called the police about Bergmann and the boy. Investigators say they then uncovered a relationship, including thousands of texts that Bergmann sent the boy. She’s facing child enticement, child sexual abuse, and other sex crime charges. She’s due back in court next month.
