City Budget Unveiled

Eau Claire’s new budget looks to spend more on city workers.

The city unveiled its proposed 2025 budget last night. The spending plan tops 190-million-dollars and would about a six percent increase from the current budget. A large focus for the money is for city workers’ paychecks and benefits, the rest is for everything from fire trucks to new roads. City Manager Stephanie Hirsch says Eau Claire is looking to invest in core city services. CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE FROM EC CITY COUNCIL.
