Wisconsin Weekend Football: Badgers Host, Packers Head West

The Badgers will try to make it 18 in a row against Purdue as they host the Boilermakers today.

Wisconsin has not lost to Purdue since a 26-23 loss at home in 2003.  The Badgers won last year’s meeting 38-17 at West Lafayette.  Wisconsin hopes to snap a two-game losing skid following losses to nationally-ranked Alabama and Southern Cal.  Today’s game kicks off at 11 a.m. at Camp Randall Stadium.

Switching from the red to the green and gold, there aren’t any questions this week about Jordan Love starting, but the Packers quarterback will likely be without two of his receivers.

Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson are both listed as “doubtful” for Sunday’s road game against the Los Angeles Rams.  Doubs missed the last two days of practice for a personal matter, while Watson is recovering from a left-ankle sprain he suffered last week against the Vikings.  There was no word about the nature of Doubs’ absence.  Sunday’s game kicks off at 3:25 p.m. at SoFi Stadium.
