Former Republican Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney will join Democratic Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris this afternoon during a visit to Wisconsin.
Cheney, the daughter of former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney, was born in Madison. Both she and her father endorse Harris. Cheney and Harris will speak in Ripon today. Former President Donald Trump will have a campaign stop in Juneau, fifty miles northeast of Madison, on Sunday.
