Money Set to Recruit and Retain Hunters

Money Set to Recruit and Retain Hunters

Wisconsin is giving out 125-thousand dollars in grants for hunting recruitment and retention.

The state Department of Natural Resources says it’ll give out the money to projects that encourage young people to learn how to hunt in Wisconsin, and increase the total number of hunters in the state. Past projects that benefited from Hunter R-Three grants include expos for new hunters, archery ranges for after-school clubs, and purchasing outdoor wheelchairs for public use. Applications will be accepted until October fifteenth.
