Real Life Concerns With WI AI

News | September 23, 2024 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy
Real Life Concerns With WI AI

Wisconsin is looking at another AI project.

The state’s economic development arm, the WEDC, is putting together a concept paper for a new manufacturing AI effort. The National Institute of Standards and Technology is driving the project. WEDC boss Missy Hughes says if Wisconsin is chosen, it could mean tens of millions of dollars in investment into the state. UW-Milwaukee, Rockwell, Milwaukee Tool, and Husco International are all involved in the project as well. There’s no word as to just when the NIST will make its decision, or when Wisconsin will learn if it makes the cut.
