A University of Wisconsin Board of Regents committee is determining the fate of a tenured UW-La Crosse professor who admittedly produces and appears in porn videos with his wife.
Doctor Joe Gow is on paid administrative leave since he was fired as the school’s chancellor in December. Gow, who says he has no plans to produce any more such video, claims the First Amendment gives him the right to produce pornographic material. The university claims it damages the school’s reputation. Attorneys for Gow and the university made arguments before the committee on Friday. The committee has given no indication when they’ll make their decision.
