A fire causes an estimated $15,000 in damages.
On Thursday September 19th, the Eau Claire Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 3802 Anderson Dr. Truck 8 was first on scene and found several occupants outside of the house reporting
there had been a fire in the upstairs bedroom. The occupants also reported they had used a fire extinguisher on the fire and believed the fire was out. Truck 8 entered the house and found light smoke in an upstairs bedroom.
No active fire was found but several items in the bedroom had fire and smoke damage. Crews began checking for fire extension and vented the house of smoke. The fire is currently under investigation.
1 person was treated and released from the scene.
