Elijah Vue’s mother is reportedly devastated over the news that her son is dead.
Katrina Bauer’s lawyers yesterday said she has learned that her son’s remains were found, and she is heartbroken. Her attorney says Bauer held out hope that her three-year-old son would be found alive. Bauer and her boyfriend remain in jail in Manitowoc County in connection to Elijah’s disappearance.
Prosecutors have not said when or if they plan to change those charges. Elijah Vue went missing back in February, and wasn’t seen until his remains were found last week near Two Rivers.
