Gary Lee Haaf, 68 years of age, from Siren has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
On Thursday, September 12, 2024, at approximately 6:53 PM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle on Midtown Road near Siren for equipment violations. The Trooper observed signs of impairment and a subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety tests, showed the driver, Gary Lee Haaf from Siren, WI, was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant 5th offense. Mr. Haaf was arrested and transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary test of his blood and then to the Burnett County Jail.
