Appleton apparently has the best-tasting tap water in the state.
That’s the consensus after a tap-water showdown between local utilities from across the state. Judges considered taste, odor, and texture. Appleton Water Utility sources its water from Lake Winnebago. It will represent Wisconsin at the AWWA’s national competition in Denver next summer.
