Courthouse Threats Lead to Probation

It’s probation for the man who threatened to shoot-up the Chippewa County courthouse over a child custody case.

A judge yesterday handed down the sentence for Harley Alcala. He pleaded guilty to felony bail jumping and making threats. Prosecutors charged Alcala after he threatened to ‘shoot-up’ the courthouse last year. Alcala will spend the next four years on probation, and must undergo mental health evaluation, and must stay sober.
