Former UW-La Crosse chancellor Joe Gow will have one more chance to keep his job later this month.
Gow will speak to UW regents on Friday the 20th in an attempt to keep his tenure. He was fired as chancellor late last year when the university discovered that he was making porn movies with his wife and sharing them online. A UW-La Crosse panel suggested he also be fired from his teaching position as well. Gow has argued that his movies are simply freedom of speech and expression.
UW-La Crosse leaders say Gow has sullied the school’s reputation.
