A man is under arrest, accused of killing UW-Whitewater gymnast Kara Welsh near campus.
Police say 23-year-old Chad T. Richards knew the victim and shot her after an argument on Friday. He was booked at the Walworth County Jail and charged on suspicion of homicide. Welsh, a 21-year-old NCAA title holder from Illinois, was studying management at the university.
