Officials in La Crosse say a capacity crowd of nearly eight-thousand people attended Thursday’s Town Hall with former President Trump.
An estimated seven-thousand-800 were at the La Crosse Center for the event, according to arena officials. Around another one-thousand people were not allowed in because the venue had reached capacity. In addition, the arena took in around 46-thousand-dollars in concessions.
On the other side of the ticket, President Biden will be back in Wisconsin next week.
The White House yesterday said the president will campaign in the southwestern part of the state, but they did not say just where. This will be Biden’s first visit to the state since he dropped out of the race about a month ago. The president, however, is just one of several Democrats who are in and out of Wisconsin.
Senator Elizabeth Warren was just in town, and VP pick Tim Walz will be in Wisconsin on Monday to celebrate Labor Day.
