National Preparedness Month Ahead

Eau Claire County Emergency Management urges all community members to observe September as “National Preparedness Month”. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced its 2024 National Preparedness efforts, with a special focus on supporting the unique needs of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. This initiative is part of FEMA’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that all communities across the nation are equipped to handle emergencies and disasters.
