Hunting Seasons Open In Wisconsin

Hunting seasons for six different species will open in Wisconsin over the weekend.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says early Canada goose, early teal, mourning dove, rail, snipe, and common gallinule seasons will open on Sunday. The Canada goose bag limit has increased to five birds per day, and the population in Wisconsin is about forty percent higher than the long-term average.
