Altoona Cameras Lead to Arrests News | August 29, 2024 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy The cameras on the stop-and-go lights in Altoona are working. Police in the city say their flock cameras have helped make more than 20 arrests this year. Altoona has cameras posted at various lights throughout the city, but mainly on the roads leading in-and-out of town. Officer Jacob Henning says the cameras are most helpful in catching out of town, or out of state criminals. That includes one arrest of two people from Minneapolis who were stealing things in both Altoona and Eau Claire.
