The Packers end the preseason on a winning note with a decisive win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Green Bay defeated Baltimore 30-to-seven Saturday at Lambeau. Neither team played their starters in the game. The Packers head south — way south — in two weeks for their regular season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. The game will be played Friday, September 6th in Sao Paulo, Brazil in the first-ever NFL game in South America.
The Brewers stay hot with a nine-five victory over the Athletics Saturday at Oakland.
Milwaukee took advantage of Oakland miscues to score three runs in the ninth inning to pull away. The Brewers are ten-and-a-half-games ahead of the Cubs in the N-L Central and eleven games ahead of the Cardinals, who were shut out by the Minnesota Twins Saturday. Frankie Montas will be on the mound for Milwaukee this afternoon as the Brew Crew goes for the sweep at Oakland.
