The Brewers maintain a double-digit lead in the N-L Central following a road win Friday night.
Rhys Hoskins’ three-run homer sparked a five-run second inning and Milwaukee never looked back in an eleven-to-three win at Oakland. Hoskins followed Gary Sanchez’s ninth-inning bases-loaded triple with a sac fly to give him four R-B-I’s on the night. The Brewers hold a ten-game lead over the Cardinals and a ten-and-a-half game lead over the Cubs, who both won last night. Game two of the three-game series against the Athletics is slated for this afternoon at 3:07 p.m.

Meanwhile, in football, Green Bay hopes to end the preseason on a winning note as the Packers host the Baltimore Ravens today.
The Packers likely will not play their starters for the second-straight week. Green Bay did not score any offensive points in last week’s loss at Denver. Today’s game kicks off at noon.
