Wisconsin is getting 177-million more dollars in federal funding for infrastructure projects.
The money is coming from the Surface Transportation Program. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation announced 200-million dollars in STP funding for bridges and roadways earlier this month. The additional funding announced yesterday will contribute to 76 more projects in 16 urban areas. More than 150 projects total will benefit from the program.
