A woman is dead after a weekend house fire in Rusk County.
Firefighters say it took them about an hour-and-a-half to put out the fire at the home in Ladysmith. That’s when they found a 35-year-old woman dead inside. Five other people who lived in the home managed to get out, though two of them suffered minor burns. Firefighters are not saying what started the fire as the incident remains under investigation.
