New Road Ahead: WI Sees New Transportation Secretary

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is getting a new secretary.

Current secretary Craig Thompson’s last day will be September eleventh of this year, and is taking a job at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Governor Tony Evers says Kristina Boardman will take over the position, and will be the first woman to do so. She’s currently the deputy secretary with the Wisconsin DOT, and previously worked as an administrator at the state Division of Motor Vehicles.
